I was born into a musical family so being a musician was never something I did, just something I was. In fact it's the only thing that's held my interest my whole life! Playing shows is fun but the true joy for me is watching someone else have that "Ah-Ha" moment when music becomes accessible for them. Naturally, I studied music in college but minored in children's education but when the opportunity to introduce musical instruments to preschoolers happened, it just made sense!I love what I do and it makes me so happy to be able to share what I've been given with others. Since starting as a professional music teacher in 1996, I’ve been privileged to start so many of my students on a discovery of music, finding their natural skills and abilities, reaching results they never dreamed were possible.
